I wanted to quickly jump on here to give a little update on the growth that is happening!

I have been extremely blessed by people's joy and curiosity about this insane opportunity I have been given. Even though I am not close to raising all the funds that are necessary to leave, I have seen generosity. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE TIME FOR PRAYER AND DONATING even in this crazy busy life! It means the world to me when I see people caring for those who they come in contact with.

These past few months have brought tremendous growth. I keep finding myself in constant prayer: thanking God for the people around me, a rich young adult environment, his love, his protection, and this opportunity ahead of me! I have never had this sort of relationship with Him. It was more of a relationship where I depended on him only in times of need, never praising him in prayer but only asking for something. I have just been truly blessed to see my heart switch from I can do it on my own thinking to I NEED GOD!

Shout out to all my fellow racers as they have really encouraged me in this new mentality. I have been in contact with multiple racers and they have encouraged me so much. Every time I am down or struggling with something, the first thing they say is "how can I pray for you?" and right then and there they pray. I have been missing this in my life and I can not express how thankful and encouraged I am.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, ESV).
