Here is a little update of what the first couple days of training camp looked like.

Let’s just say it isn’t as bougie as what you may think. Yes, I am sleeping in a tent for 6 weeks. Yes, we are peeing in porta potties. Yes, we are showering once a week. And yes, the food…let’s just say isn’t what I expected.

These may all sound not to bad but it sure does take a lot of adjustment. PLUS I am living with complete strangers.

Throughout this week, I have been able to experience something that I have never been apart of before. The worship has been incredible but something I am not used to. But let me tell you, it is the sweetest thing to watch almost 200 people packed in a room singing as loud as they can in order to give God the praise. Literal chills come to me every morning.  We all give him the praise. I have never felt so small compared to him that I just need to kneel down to worship Him. There is so much Holy Spirit in this room every morning that all you can do is kneel and praise The One True God.

Despite my tent almost flooding and the one bucket shower that I have had, I am meeting and building the sweetest relationship with first my God and second my friends. God has led me to this place with wonderful staff, squad mates and leaders and I am so grateful! And I am learning what my identity is in Christ! What good news!
