Last night I experienced the craziest miracles. I didn’t realize how important the Holy Spirit and prayer is to our faith. As christians, the first thing we should do when a trial comes up is to pray. Pray pray pray. Pray until you feel the Holy Spirit telling you to stop.

Last night one of the girls on my team had a sore ankle (to the point where she was not walking on it.) We started praying over her as a whole squad, placing our hands on her and asking for the Lord to lay his healing hand on her. Minutes later, we were all cheering as she stands up and starts dancing. We all broke out in singing praises to our Powerful God.

Less than 20 minutes later, another miracle happened. My friend had broken two of her fingernails to the point that they were bleeding and bandaids were put on so that the nails would not fall off. A girl prayed over her and then were immediately painless and there were no cracks in the nails. I had had a hard time believing the first miracle but this second one I knew fully well that God works in the smallest ways.

God has encouraged me so much these past days. Here is a cool story that happened to me that same night minuets after the fingernails were being healed. I got stung by a wasp and so I went to look for something to put on it. I entered the room where everyone was worshiping and I asked the leader that was in there if she had anything for the sting. All she said was, “Oh no! Can I pray over it?” Prayer was her first response! I of course said yes and minutes later there was a group praying over me. We stopped praying and started singing. After the end of the song, the leader came back to me and asked out the sting. I told her yes it still hurt but it is only a sting so I can handle it. Her response was, “let me pray over you again.” Again a group surrounded me and this time oil was put on my forehead. And the minute the oil touched my skin, I felt this sence of something being released out of my heart and a weight being lifted off of my shoulders. I didn’t know how to handle what just happened that I started laughing and crying at the same time! One of the other people around me gave me a hug and while she was hugging me she said, “girl, I literally feel things being released out of your body right now.” I still don’t know what happened but what I do know is that God clearly heard the prayer and did something inside of me. It might take years to find out what he did or it might take only a couple days. But I felt close to him. And I want to experience what I felt again and again and again.

Thank you Jesus for your love, your healing hand, and your promise to protect.
